Message from the CEO
Our Management Principle, Strategy, Work and Dream
- ● Operate with 60% management, using minimum infrastructure, in the minimum amount of time.
- ● Study thoroughly successful cases and add our originality.
- ● Do what you are good at and ask others to handle what you are not good at.
- ● Be mindful all the time of making the company business as your responsibility.
- ● Individual growth leads to the company’s growth so that our dreams become reality.
We manufacture food products.
To be precise, you can find our products at local stores or convenience stores, or you may have enjoyed our products at one of the restaurant chains in Japan.
People tend to act conservatively when it comes to what they consume. For example, after World War II, bread was introduced as a staple in school meals instead of rice, but it took several decades to impact eating habits significantly. In the midst of this, we are striving to bring innovation to “Dashi”.
We practice “60% management.”
Everyone naturally aims for a “perfect score.” However, in a business setting, hassling for “100 %” often leads to a shortage of time. We are striving to take on the challenge of making “Dashi” a global term that everyone can recognize with minimum infrastructure in the shortest possible time. This is where the principle of our “60% management” comes from.
Additionally, we have a coined term: “TTPS.”
The origins of the term are debated, but simply put, it stands for a methodology of “Thoroughly (T) Take(T) Copy (P) and Evolve (S)” *The original term is in Japanese, therefore TTPS does not follow English terms.
To explain this concept more thoroughly, it means “by thoroughly researching successful cases and best practices, understand the methods, share them across the entire organization, and then add our originality to evolve by implementing them.” By going through the process, we believe new markets—what we call the blue ocean—will open up.
In addition, work cannot be done alone.
Cooperation and teamwork are essential for success. Therefore, we support each other as we work, focus on what you are good at, and ask others who are good at it to handle the areas you are not good at. We believe this is the ideal approach when you work as a team.
Work is the second activity that takes up your lifetime after sleep. Therefore, we want work to be fun above all else.
To achieve this, we always keep in mind the importance of ” making the company business as your responsibility.” When everyone works with a sense of ownership, individual growth directly contributes to the company’s growth. And with that, I truly believe that our dream of making “Dashi” a world-renowned term will come true.
